CHURCHILL RIVER, LABRADOR

Nineteenth century explorers reported black sands on the banks of the Churchill River. Markland geologists discovered important concentrations of heavy minerals and has acquired mineral claims to cover 144 km2 of the Churchill river and Lake Melville shoreline. In 2002 Markland  began prospecting, sampling and percussion core drilling.
